Intel Partners with SoftBank Subsidiary to Develop Z-Angle Memory
Intel's (INTC) memory ambitions are "back in the spotlight" after it announced a partnership with SoftBank's (SFTBY) subsidiary SAIMEMORY to develop Z-Angle Memory, said TrendForce News. EE Times Japan, citing a SoftBank spokesperson, notes that SoftBank plans to invest roughly 3 billion yen through prototype completion in fiscal 2027, the report noted. Other publicly traded companies in the memory space include Micron (MU), Western Digital (WDC), Seagate (STX) and SanDisk (SNDK).
