Valmet to Upgrade Recycled Board Machine at Wuzhou Special Paper
Valmet's Project with Wuzhou Special Paper: Valmet has been contracted to rebuild a paper machine and supply two winders for Wuzhou Special Paper's mill in Hubei, China, with the project expected to start in early 2027. The investment aims to convert the machine to produce recycled fluting and liner grades, enhancing production capacity.
Technological Enhancements: The delivery from Valmet includes advanced components such as a new layering headbox, rebuilt forming and press sections, and a machine control system, making it the widest containerboard machine in China at 11.3 meters.
Wuzhou Special Paper's Strategic Goals: The deputy general manager of Wuzhou Special Paper emphasized that this investment is crucial for expanding capacity and strengthening their market position in packaging, leveraging proven technology for efficiency.
